Remoting it
This is a collection of my posts about working remotely after the earthquake of 22 February 2011 in Christchurch, NZ.
Since the 22 February I’ve been working variously from: The Distiller in Dunedin; the kitchen table at home in Christchurch during the day, or from the couch at night; Boffa Miskell’s new offices on Sir Gil Simpson Place or Ivan Jamieson Place; Boffa Miskell’s Tauranga office - sometimes with my 4 year old in tow.
I’ve discovered being a roving librarian is actually pretty fun; and it’s fortunate in a way that while I’m a librarian without a library, our company has two office libraries without librarians.
