Online instruction for library skills training
I’ve just finished reacing Meredith Farkas (@librarianmer) article in American Libraries, The Guide on the Side and I’m keen to give this tool a go.
It was developed at Arizon University, it’s open source, it looks pretty good, and sounds easy to use.
What I like about it is that it allows students to interact with the actual database rather than be in a simulated environment, or to jsut watch videos and then do a task. They are fully engaged in the experience straight away.
I’d be keen to hear if others are using this and what they are using it for.
